I remain grateful for your writing and your research and will continue to read under whatever label you choose. And as a student of local history. I had no idea that we had a 3rd incline preceding James & Wentworth. Looking forward to that story.

Congratulations on the rebrand. Excellent name! Onward and upward reminds me of Sisyphus though if appropriate I know not enough. As for the previous name or label, I’m constantly recalling that “all group identity is bigotry” as explained so convincingly by Peter Joseph that I won’t attempt it. Love the Carl Sagan response.

Hey Chris, glad to see you back. But are you following the 2013 NDP move to eradicate socialism/socialist from their mandate to placate some of your readers oh so afraid of that very scary word socialists? Personally I had no problem with the former title refreshingly using the word socialists!

That's an interesting point! I'd say this is more of a new coat of paint than a watering down. I hope to provide the same kind of newsletter, just in a fun new package!

I was afraid you were going to announce an end to your writing here. So glad to know you’re going to continue. Thank you for your work, the research, the history and insights.

Having attended more meetings in more Church Basements, Union Halls, School Auditoriums, Theatres, and Open Air Forums I do know that a motion needs a seconder.

So moved and seconded.

All the best in future musings and contributions to the body politic.
