Thank-you oh thank- you for this history. Reading the frolics of the Prohibitionst, Church people and their followers I thought I was reading Sunshine Sketches.

CHML was the very essence of Hamilton our politics, sports and very culture came across the air waves daily.

Titans of local broadcasting, Paul Hanover, Perce Allen, Tom Charrington were part of our homes-our daily routines. Lives were planned around the news and weather forecasts on 'ML. Sports from the field, politics reported poll by poll on election night hell we had it all.

It is sad that the once proud station had been reduced to perpetual repeat recordings and on air commentators like Green, Kelly, Radley and Cutura in their right wing echo chamber of insessesant drivel.

I listened to the end. AM radio journalism did not die, its' bastard child was put out of its' misery.
